Share Purchase Window Extended

A letter from our Chairman

As we end our final week of Fund Raising (closing date 10 May 2024) I have 2 things to share with you.

Firstly, thanks to the many of you who have come and spoken to us at our stalls for the Monthly Market and at the Street Fair. It was fantastic to hear the general enthusiasm there is for keeping our village pub and the work we are doing.

Secondly, and this is rather important one. We are anticipating hearing about the outcome of our Levelling Up Fund Grant application this month. We are now less than £100K away from meeting our overall target (assuming we receive the grant). So, with this in mind we will be extending the window within which to purchase shares. Provisionally this will be for 1 month, so the new closing date for Share Purchase is 10 June, 2024. However, please watch this space and/or the website for news of the closing date.

Just one more thing….word of our work has definitely spread. We have now had donations from as far afield as Canada, Australia and the USA!!!
